The School is looking for a primary music teacher (3 days a week).

The School is looking for a primary music teacher (3 days a week).

Minimum qualification:
- Bachelor Degree in Music
- At least one year teaching experience
- Fluen in English is a must
- be able to work three days per week
- previous experience in arranging performances and productions is essential

Salary: 38,000 - 45,000 baht per month

Responsible for:
- The teaching of Music to students in the age-range from 3 - 12 as necessary.
- Positively promoting Music across the whole school.
- Regularly delivering public musical performances/concerts to a consistently high standard.
- Liaising with other Departments to provide musical input to School productions.
- Following, reviewing and developing already formulated English National Curriculum Schemes of Work.
- Producing medium term teaching plans for each year group according to those Schemes of Work using BIST planning format.
- Delivering that curriculum to assigned classes in accordance with the School’s timetable. Differentiating that delivery according to the abilities and learning strategies of individual students.
- Keeping detailed records of plans and achievements of individual students; developing standardised forms of assessment and record keeping.
- Reporting to parents in accordance with the school’s reporting policy as laid down in the Staff Handbook.
- Arranging frequent rehearsals for choirs, orchestra, ensembles, etc.
- Arranging regular singing and other musical performances in Primary school assemblies each Friday morning.
- Delivering instrumental lessons as and when required.
- Following the School’s policies and procedures with regard to discipline and behaviour, daily routines, duties, homework, leave of absence, and visits, as laid down in the Staff Handbook.
- Attending and contributing to meetings of a professional nature as and when required.
- Liaising with Heads of Curriculum and Heads of Key Stage to develop continuity and progression in Music across the whole school.
- Developing cross-curricular links and providing opportunities for students to develop and apply their Music skills.
