SISS, an International School using the Singapore Curriculum is in need of an experienced Singaporean Maths Teacher. Bachelors Degree in Education is a must
The Maths Teacher will be using the Singapore Curriculum and is in-charge of the following:
1. preparation of the lesson plan 1 week in advance with back-up class worksheets materials according to the SOW.
.2 Preparing differentiated worksheets and teaching materials for pupils with different learning needs and abilities.
3 Setting examination papers or relevant oral and written tests as required by the school.
4 Assigning and marking homework on a daily basis. Homework must be marked within the time frame stated in the homework policy.
5 Marking examination or test papers and preparing report cards as required by the school. Results and analysis of the examination or test must be ready for submission within the time frame specified by the Principal
6 Working with the school to modify or improve the schemes of work periodically.
7 Managing the students in the classroom to ensure that effective learning takes place.
8 Supervising the lining up of pupils in the open grounds when they attend the daily flag raising and weekly assembly and when they walk to the canteen for their breaks
9 Tidying up the classroom.
10 Providing “teacher made” resources
11 Checking / Marking of homework or activity worksheets
