Job Title 1 - Academic Manager

State/Province - Pathumi Thani, Bangkok

Reports to - Academic Director
Salary - 45-50,000 Baht
Accommodation - Supplied
Required Working Hours - Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm

The Position:
IDEAL English Academy is looking for outstanding Academic Manager who will be responsible team players and take initiative to solve problems and carry multiple tasks through to completion. They will contribute their ideas alongside a wide range of existing educational products and services within the IDEAL family. Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director, the Academic Manager will oversee all phases of our students’ academic experience. They will manage every aspect of instruction with an eye toward continually improving the academic progress of every student. In charge of 8 teachers, the manager will train and develop his team.


Responsibilities:
• Manage the service provided to our clients including parent communication, effective instruction and complete customer satisfaction
• Ensure all students meet and exceed company benchmarks for academic progress
• Manage staff training, supervision, scheduling, professional development and overall instructional quality
• Run and manage all aspects of the program within the company
• Analyze and make improvements to our customer’s academic programs to ensure positive results
• Monitor student lesson plans, student academic progress and assessments
• Manage the assimilation of new instructional materials and methods


Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (B.Ed preferred) with TESOL/PGCE/TEFL; excellent academic record achievement
• Passion for fostering academic progress
• 4 years of teaching and/or management experience preferred
• Outstanding on site and remote management skills
• Leadership and team motivation skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details
• Strong interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills
• Desire to work in an intense, fast paced environment

Job Title 2 – English Teacher
Academic Division – ACE or IP
Location – Nonthaburi & Samkouk, Pathum Thani.
Position Type - Full Time
Reports to - Academic Manager
Required Working Hours - Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm

Who we are looking for:
IDEAL English Academy is seeking energetic, professional teachers to contribute to the continuing success of its Active Conversation English & Intensive English Programs. All teachers must be native speakers of English (Australian, New Zealand, South African, USA, and UK)

In addition to professional qualifications, we are looking for responsible team players with creativity and enthusiasm; teachers who take teaching seriously, love working with children and display an active interest in their students’ academic success.

Our clients, Sacred Heart school Nonthaburi & Samkouk school. Pathum Thani, are looking for dynamic English teachers to be placed for the new semester in October. Teaching load is up to 24 lessons a week and class sizes limited to 30 students. We supply all our teachers with the materials for their lessons, which include flash cards, Cd’s, wall charts and much more.

Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree (any subject) and a TEFL / CELTA certificate or equivalent and have at least a year of relevant documented teaching experience. All applicants MUST be native speakers of English.

* B36,000-B40,000/month salary (+ regular annual increases);
