Primary & Secondary Teachers

We require full-time teachers to teach English, science, and maths to students

Sathit Pattana is looking for full-time teachers to teach English, science, or maths to primary and/or secondary students of a sufficiency English program, and English to kindergarten students. The contract is 12 month with insurance after a 4 month probation period. The start date is April 22, 2010

Sathit Pattana, located in the rural Khlong Samwa district of Northern Bangkok near Safari World, is currently accepting applications for all levels(kindergarten to secondary). The subjects to be taught are English, maths, and science. Interested applicants should meet the following requirements in order to be considered for the respective positions:
• Bachelor degree
• Teaching experience relative to the desired position
• Thai teaching license or completion of the Thai culture training
• Being a native English speaker
• Experience teaching in Thailand
The position is to start 1 April 2010. The positions require a minimum of 20 contact hours and typical teacher responsibilities. These include:
• Lessons plans
• Resource development
• Correcting and evaluating student work
• Maintenance of class records
• Proper attire
• Punctuality
• School grounds duty once a week
• Maintaining communication with parents
• Activities outside of the typical work schedule (I.e., parent teacher meetings, sports day, etc.)
• Respectable representation of the school both during and after work hours

Starting salaries are 40,000 baht depending on housing assistance for a 12 month contract. Prospective applicants possessing teaching licenses, additional certifications, extensive experience relative to teaching in Thailand, etc., will be considered at a higher starting salary. Work hours are 8:00 to 4:00 except on the day of school grounds responsibility, which will start at 7:00 am.
The school will assist with visa and work permit applications.

Bonuses and contract renewal will be based on teacher performance.
