A MATHEMATICS TEACHER AND A KINDERGARTEN TEACHER
Salary 31,000 THB per month. The monthly salary is increased 2,000 THB per month for each year completed at Oonrak up to a ceiling of 35,000 THB in the third year of employment. Salary by negotiation in the fourth year.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will be a western teacher who is a native English speaker. A Bachelor of Teaching or Education, or a Post-graduate Diploma in Teaching or Education.

THE SCHOOL
The school is a new building purpose built with all the facilities, resources and staff to deliver a world class curriculum.
AGE RANGE
In 2010 we will have a full intake from nursery to year 6. ( 3 -13 years of age ).
THE CURRICULUM
This particular vacancy would suit a teacher who is able to deliver Foundation Stage 3-5 and The National Curriculum for England Key stage 1 & 2. We also use The University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Starters, Movers & Flyers).
CONTRACT AND HOLIDAYS
The contract, visas and documentation are for a 12 month period. There a 15 days of public holidays throughout the year which are paid. There is also a two week paid holiday in October. Teachers are not required to be in school during the month of April.
HOLIDAYS AND BENEFITS
• The contracts begin on 1st May and terminate on the 30th April. There are approximately 13-15 public holidays in each year.
• When these holidays occur on a teaching day the school is closed. These holidays are paid.
• There will be a paid holiday of two weeks during the month of October
• The month of April is not worked
• Total paid holiday is approximately 9 weeks per year
• Five days teaching per week.
• 23 contact hours and 17 preparation hours per week
• Visa, work permit and the Certificate of Thai Language, Culture and Professional Ethics provided free of charge.
• 24 hour helpline to an English speaking school manager, who can sort out any immediate crisis.
• Free in-service training, guidance and professional support when the need arises
• The contract is renewable by mutual agreement
