We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions which we hope will answer any questions about this site that you may have. If not, please feel free to contact us through the details listed on our 'About Us' page.

How do I register my school for this site?

School's must first register a user account here. From your user account you are able to create a school profile which can be used to post jobs on our site. You will not be able to post any jobs without creating a user account and school profile first.

All user accounts must also be authorised before any jobs you submit will be posted live. This usually takes no more than 24-48 hours. However, upon registering you may submit your jobs immediately to be authorised at the same time as your account.

Is the site free?

Ajarn Jobspace is completely free for schools to register accounts with us. It is also free to post bronze level jobs with us.

We are also offering schools free silver level job advertisements, for a limited time, as a launch special. When posting a new jobs, you may select the silver grade level for your job advertisement to take advantage of this free offer.

Do I have to accurately set the location of my school on your jobmap?

No. If you do not enter a location for your school then an approximate location is used from our database of geocodes. However, if you can set your location accurately on your map then this will help job hunters understand your location better.

Please note that as some school locations are not accurately located by schools, job seekers should not solely rely on these when actually looking for the school in question.

Will my jobs be posted immediately?

We screen all the jobs that are listed on Ajarn Jobspace. This process can take up to 24-48 hours and depends on the job grade that you select for your job.

I don't see anything in the map box?

We use the GoogleMap API to display our jobs. Sometimes this can take up to 30 seconds to fully display the map on your computer. This is due to the time it can take to retrieve the map information from Google onto your computer and is dependent on the speed of your connection.

Is my personal information confidential?

We will not disclose your personal information to a third party. We will also not sell, or disclose, the email address you supply as your user account. However, all information placed within school profiles is available online (including your school email) to job hunters, so please be aware of this.

Do I have to use the map view to browse jobs?

The map view we offer offers us a lot of uniqueness to other sites out there. However, we know that this may not be suitable for all job seekers out there. So, we also offer a list view of jobs which does not use a map interface, you can check this out here.

It doesn't work

As hard as we try to bring everybody a site that is easy to use and error free, there may be bugs that impact on your user experience. We encourage you to report these issues to us using our bug report feature here. This way we can work to resolve these problems for everybody.

Why did you create this site?

We created this site because we believe there is a serious lack of quality, online, teacher job sites here in Thailand. Most other sites are not easy to use and poorly maintained. We hope to offer a site that offers a daily selection of jobs for job seekers within an interface that is simple and easy to use.
