Front Page
Our user poll finished on Friday and we received an overwhelming number of votes for the option of being able to unlock resumes for public viewing. We have now made this change so find out more here.
Our users overwhelmingly voted for resumes to be viewable to the public. We have now made these changes to anybody holding a resume, or who opens a resume, so that they can make their resume publicly viewable.
This means that you can now provide a link to your resume in emails to employers so they can view your resume even if they don't hold an account with us.
Making your resume publicly available
To make your resume publicly available, follow these steps:
- Login to your account
- Click the 'Resume Manager' link in the left hand navigation bar
- Click the 'Publicly available' link to make your resume viewable
Searching for unlocked resumes
You can search for unlocked resumes through the 'View Resumes' link and selecting the unlocked radio button in the search filters box.
Spam Protection
In addition to allowing users to unlock their resumes to the public, we have also added a Captcha system to protect users from spam. This should prevent users from being spammed from having their email's collected by spiders.
School account holders who are logged in to the site will bypass the need to enter these Catpcha verifications so that is a good incentive to sign up for an account with us.
